If you’ve never had a Life Coach, you may be wondering how it works. Here are some of the questions I’m often asked and my best explanation for how I work with my clients.
During a complimentary thirty minute phone session with me, you’ll have the opportunity to share what you would want to work on together. After I have the chance to listen, I share with you what a strategy would look like and then I explain the logistics of how coaching works, the different plans I offer and my fee structure. If you are interested, we get you scheduled and I email you a Welcome Packet. If you are seriously considering whether coaching is right for you, sign up for this complimentary coaching session. I think people are inherently good and want the best for themselves and others. However most people get distracted by fear and the day-to-day details of life. I think people need more than just motivation and encouragement. They also need a balance of structure, focus and accountability. More people now than ever want to change, yet feel powerless to make it happen on their own. I feel my role in people’s lives is to hold the space for amazing things to occur. We’ll create the vision of what you want most in your life, come up with a plan for achieving it, and then break that into small steps. I’ll encourage you to take action and then keep you focused on your commitment. Clients tell me they’ve accomplished things after working with me for only a few months that they have been unable to change for years. I believe everything is possible if you believe in yourself and the power of your intentions.
While I work with all people, I have found that I bring extra value to both men and women who are in transition, perhaps from a career change, a divorce or as empty nesters who are looking to redefine who they are. I also work with people to help them fit their career into a life that’s defined by their values rather than the more common approach of our culture, which is to fit our life into our career. I also am very passionate about helping people create lives that are an authentic expression of what is most important to them. On the business side of things, I work with many clients to launch business ideas that have been in their minds or on paper but have yet to be turned into reality. My business background affords me the opportunity to work at a level of detail that includes developing business, marketing, and PR plans. I also work with people to help them develop the organizational, administrative and financial infrastructure of their businesses.
My clients come to me when they don’t know how to get from A to B. My strength is in seeing both the big picture and the smaller details and knowing how to close the gap by breaking things down into small, easy steps. My role is to keep us focused on the large vision of your goals while we’re off working on the smaller details. I am also very good at quickly zeroing in on people’s blind spots and the true issues that are holding them back from achieving their goals. Finally, I have a very direct style that is helpful in holding people accountable, yet I’m also able to keep things light and fun despite working on important issues.
I work with anyone who wants to and is ready to make positive changes in his or her life. I have clients of all ages.
I also specialize in working with business people, entrepreneurs and attorneys who want a partner in growing their business in order to achieve greater success. I help people with a variety of issues:

I work with my clients by phone. Once you choose to become a client, I email you a Welcome Packet that you fill out and email back to me. We also schedule your first session, which is a one hour phone meeting that allows us to create the strategy of how we will approach our work together and accomplish your goals. Thereafter, our coaching sessions are thirty minutes long and are scheduled at a regular time throughout the month, either two, three or four times a month. Prior to each session, you email me any written action steps that you’ve completed. I read this prep material in advance of our session and call you promptly at our scheduled time. The power of coaching lies not only in the synergy, motivation and structure of the sessions themselves, but also in the focus you have in between our sessions in completing your action steps. This is ultimately what changes your life.
